Elemelons Constitution

Server Rules

A cleaned-up community rulebook for conduct, land, government, court cases, admin standards, and player rights on CaveBuild.

Quick Standards

Be respectful, keep builds appropriate, do not scam or exploit, and use Discord and Minecraft features the way they are intended.

1

Player Conduct

  • Avoid curse words, slurs, and inappropriate language.
  • No inappropriate pictures, videos, or builds. This includes sexual or graphic violent material, harassment-focused content, and hate-symbol-style builds or images.
  • Use Discord channels for their intended purpose and do not spam.
  • Do not ping everyone individually if you cannot use @everyone. Limit pings to two per person per topic.
2

AI, Hacks, Bugs, and Scams

  • Do not use artificial intelligence to write or edit messages, write scripts, describe or design builds, generate ideas, plan strategies, or optimize loopholes.
  • Hacking and bug abuse are prohibited. Bug abuse means using unintended features or scripts as if they were intended gameplay.
  • Scamming is prohibited, including misleading trades, forged contracts, and dishonest pricing.
  • When evidence is clear, administration may help recover lost items from scams.
3

Restricted Items and Blocks

Players may own these items, but may not use them unless a specific exception applies. The military may use them during conflict.

  • Elytra without a license
  • TNT
  • End Crystals
  • Ender Pearls
  • Respawn Anchors
  • TNT Minecarts
  • Flint and Steel
  • Fire Charges
  • Flying Machines
4

Punishments

  • Bad language: warning, warning, then one-week timeout.
  • Inappropriate content or builds: one-day timeout, two-day timeout, then one-week timeout.
  • Incorrect channel use: warning, then additional warnings until five warnings trigger a five-day timeout.
  • AI use: warning, then additional warnings until five warnings trigger a five-day timeout.
  • Hacking or bug abuse: one-week timeout, then permanent ban.
  • Scamming: one-day timeout, three-day timeout, then permanent ban.
5

Prices, Land, and Building

  • Official EBAS stores must list prices above or below the item being sold. EBAS means Elemelons Buy, Auction, and Sell.
  • Land costs 10 Echobits per block column. The full Y-level column is included with the purchase.
  • Government sells land. Unclaimed and abandoned land must still be bought.
  • Land can only be claimed next to roads. Government roads are the paved or gravel areas shown on government maps.
  • The two states are the Union of Elemelons and the Province of the Fog.
  • Players are fined only when sued by another player.
  • Builds reaching Y-level 50 require a lightning rod. Builds reaching Y-level 100 require a red light.
6

Government and Elections

  • Government roles are decided by Discord poll.
  • Players may be re-elected every other election. Once elected, a player serves the term unless they appoint an eligible successor.
  • Succession may happen once per term. A successor cannot appoint another successor.
  • Terms: President, two months; Vice President, three months; Head of Defence, three months; Logistics Manager, two months; Judge, two months; Congress, four months.
  • There are two members of Congress, voted on by players.
7

Voting Power

  • The President can vote on big and small decisions, with two votes on big decisions and one vote on small decisions.
  • Admins, the Vice President, and Congress can vote on big and small decisions with one vote each.
  • The SWAT Team, Head of Defence, and Logistics Manager vote on small decisions with one vote each.
  • Roles next to multiple people count individually; each listed person gets their own vote.
8

Court, Judges, and Jury

  • One active judge is voted on by the people. Judges oversee civil cases and recommend decisions in criminal cases.
  • If no judge is available, Congress may appoint a temporary judge. A personally involved judge counts as unavailable.
  • A jury has three randomly selected players. Civil cases require a majority decision; criminal cases require a unanimous decision.
  • The death penalty is not allowed.
  • If the accusing party does not show, the case is thrown out. If the defendant does not show, the case is delayed and the defendant is fined 1,000 Echobits per day.
  • Civil cases are brought by one player against another. Criminal cases are brought by the government, and the government provides a public attorney.
9

Grand Jury, Sentencing, and Jail

  • A four-member grand jury is needed when one person commits at least one crime in each state.
  • If the grand jury is tied, one willing member of Congress decides. If none volunteer, one is assigned.
  • After trial, a defendant may request a new punishment if they believe the sentence violates the eighth amendment. The new judge and jury decision is final.
  • Guilty players must serve their sentence. After serving it, they must be treated like normal citizens.
  • Jail is for sentences of three hours or less. Prison is for sentences longer than three hours.
10

Militia and Conflict

  • The militia is volunteer-based and paid during peace time.
  • During war, uprisings, conflict, or military operations, everyone ranked C tier or above on PVP Central's tier list may be drafted.
  • Peace-time pay ranges from 20,000 to 200,000 Echobits depending on rank.
  • Conflict pay is 400,000 Echobits.
11

Admin Standards and Rewards

  • Admins caught abusing power will be removed from admin.
  • Admins who incorrectly punish a player receive a warning. Three admin warnings cause removal, and admin warnings do not reset.
  • Players who report bugs or loopholes in the Elemelons Constitution to an admin may receive 100 to 1,000,000 Echobits.
12

  • Players have rights to religion, speech, peaceful assembly, and petitioning the government.

  • Jury trial rights apply to common-law suits above forty Echobits.
